Emmy nominated freelance wildlife and natural history DoP/cameraman/filmmaker, with extensive experience working in high altitude, and with primates.

With dual nationalities, both British and Hong Kong Passports, I am capable of reading, writing and speaking fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. A multi-cultural background and good interpersonal skills enable me to maintain a good working relationship between the team and the locals in the field. 

Owning a range of filming equipment including 8K RED, CN-20, 30-300, cine-slider, Cooke cine-primes, multi-axis timelapse slider system, DJI Ronin 2 and Inspire 2/X7 drone combo with CAA PfCO certified - Jacky is capable of capturing unique and dynamic sequences with specific equipment to meet the needs of productions. 

Besides camera work, I do educational talks and presentations in China with NatGeo Live!, aiming to educate the younger generation on conservation and the natural world. 

I love making music, photography and geek out on cinematography/equipment… as well as spending time in the middle of nowhere, filming local wildlife and people, learning about the profound connections between people and nature.
